Giverny

パリの北東、ノルマンディー地方のGivernyという小さな街へ。
ここには、Claude Monetの庭とアトリエがあり、もっぱら熟年層に人気の観光地です。

This weekend, I was heading to Giverny, in Normandy,
where Claude Monet spent his last part of his life.





モネの庭もさることながら、街中の家々にお庭があり、
とても手入れが良く行き届いています。

As well as Monets garden, all of the house in the town has their own garden,
and all of them are well designed and mantained.

モネは晩年この庭自体を自分の最高傑作だと人に語ったそうです。
later, Monet told his friend that this is his master piece.
